1793. Commissioners Sonthonax and Polvérel deported Governor Galbaud:

Blanchelande, deported by these same commissioners a few months earlier,

the authority of the commissioners aligned immediately with the great and small whites
and against the presence of "people of color" in the colonial administration. On board
from “Normandy”, the boat that was supposed to transport him to France, he was released on June 20
