1914. The American government presented to Oreste Zamor a project of
convention.
This draft convention provided for customs control by the United States. These
the last ones hoped that President Oreste Zamor (8 February 1914 – 27 October
1914), facing difficulties, would bend easily with some
Benefits. The president held them in check. This same project will be presented again on
December 10, 1914 to President Davilmar Theodore, and finally imposed in 1915,
after the landing of the marines.
