1802. Toussaint Louverture arrives in France where he ends his days:

the orders of Leclerc.
Embarked for the Cap des Gonaives three days later, he was boarded from the Cape to
France on the ship Le Héros on the following 15 June. After a 27-day journey, this
last arrived in the harbor of Brest on that day.

Later, on April 7, 1803, he passed away at the Fort de Joux, sick and completely isolated.
1918. By decree of the Council of State, Haiti declares war on Germany:
