This concession contract establishing the National Bank of Haiti was signed
with the Société générale de crédit industriel et commercial. The new institution
bancaire was a French limited company, with a capital of 10,000,000 francs and
ensured the service of the general treasury. She was initially housed in a house
particular to the good faith of the street.
1893. Episcopal ordination of Bishop Morice.
Bishop Morice was the first Bishop of Les Cayes. He resigned on June 18, 1914.
