1964. Execution of the survivors of "Jeune Haiti":
Landed at Dame-Marie (see: 5 August 1964), in the
Department of Grand'Anse, with the aim of overthrowing
the government of François Duvalier, this group,
composed of 13 young Haitians from various countries
foreigners bravely faced the forces
governments that eventually got the better of them in
killing them one by one. The two survivors (Marcel Numa and
Louis Drouin), captured were taken to Port-au-Prince and executed in front of the cemetery in the presence of a huge crowd brought
on the premises for the occasion, including schoolchildren.
